Create desktop shortcut Windows Live Mail

There are two methods to create a Desktop shortut for Windows Live Mail:

Via the Start Menu:

  1. Click on the Windows Logo


  2. Right click on the Windows Live Mail entry, and drag your mose to the desktop (while holding down the right mouse button), once you see the Create Link in Desktop icon appear release the right mouse button.


  3. Click on Create shortcuts here.


  4. A shortcut to Windows Live Mail will appear on the desktop.




Via Windows Explorer:

  1. Open up windows Explorer, right click on the Windows Logo (Start Button) and select Open Windows Explorer


  2. Click on My Computer

  3. Double Click on Local Disk (c:)

  4. Double Click on Program Files

  5. Double Click on Windows Live

  6. Double Click on Mail

  7. Locate, and right click on wlmail, then click on Create Shortcut


  8. Click on Yes to create a shortcut on the dektop


  9. A shortcut to Windows Live Mail will appear on the desktop.
