Lindy and me

When he brings you his leash, you know it's time for a walk. Twice a day for nine years, that's 6,570 trips around the campus at Mount Allison University. Even though Uta is retired from teaching math, she still finds numbers fascinating. Maybe that's why she likes Aliant Value Packages. She gets all the services she wants, and doesn't need a calculator to know she's getting a good deal. Walk Lindy?
We know our customers want their communications and entertainment products and services in one package from one supplier. Customers like Uta Bartlett of Sackville have told us so. They've also told us it's about more than the convenience of getting everything they need in one place, it's also about simplicity, flexibility and savings.

Everything you need

Simplicity, flexibility and savings
From purchasing a personal computer, to local and long distance, to wireless, television and Internet, our Value Packages let residential
customers buy our communications and entertainment services in a variety of bundles, designed to meet almost any lifestyle. It isn’t about one size fits all. It’s about giving individuals what they need to simplify their
lives. Value Packages are a popular choice of customers, particularly in Atlantic Canada.

Our small and medium-sized business customers are also benefiting from service packages. Designed to allow businesses to serve their
customers faster and provide a competitive advantage, our range of business service packages include voicemail, fax to e-mail, PC backup, and computer security services. With our Internet packages, customers can add a high-quality desktop or laptop computer, with the cost spread out over monthly payments.

Reducing churn, increasing revenue
For us, service packages play a key role in retaining customers. In the residential market, encouraging customers to move from a single service, to multiple services, to Value Packages, reduces churn and increases our revenue per household through selling additional services. We have learned that by including unique options that are not available outside of Value Packages, we can increase customer loyalty. Value Packages are our number one tool for defending our local service business from competitors.

The evolution of Value Packages
In 2007, we will evolve our Value Packages beyond products and services to encompass the total experience a customer has with our brands. We will add more exclusive offers and benefits, and simplify the buying process. And we will introduce service packages into new areas. For example, in early 2007, Bell Nordiq launched a new residential package that includes local and high-speed Internet service.

Ensuring our service packages continue to offer the right combination of services at the best value for our customers is an important priority for us. As we extend our high-speed Internet coverage into new areas and introduce enhanced services, such as IPTV, we will be able to offer more customers the simplicity, flexibility and savings provided by a broader selection of service packages.

We believe that having everything you need is a good thing. But having everything you need in one simple package is better.
