Bell Aliant allows bid for Amtelecom to expire


Halifax, Nova Scotia – Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund (“Bell Aliant”) (TSX: BA.UN) announced today that it has allowed its offer to purchase all of the outstanding units of Amtelecom Income Fund (TSX: AMT.UN) to expire as of 5:00 pm (Eastern), April 18, 2007.
